The Anambra Small Business Agency, ASBA was established on 8th December 2014 with the mission to establish a structured and efficient hub for micro, small and medium enterprises sector that will enhance sustainable economic development in the State. ASBA’s vision is to facilitate easier access to resources required by entrepreneurs and investors of MSMEs in Anambra.

At ASBA, our core mandate is to exterminate poverty to the barest minimum by supporting the growth and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Anambra State via funding and capacity building initiatives. This is borne out of the fact that MSMEs have the potentials to create employment, grow the GDP of the state, put food on the table of our citizens in line with Mr. Governor’s mandate of making Anambra State a prosperous and livable state.
ASBA’s corporate vision is to facilitate easier access to resources required by entrepreneurs and investors of MSMEs to achieve sustainable development in Anambra State while its mission is to establish a structured and efficient hub for Micro,
Small and Medium Enterprises sector that will enhance sustainable economic development in Anambra State.From inception to date, ASBA has been able to fund over 10,000 Micro, and over 560 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The hallmark of our operational effectiveness to the states MSMEs sector earned us the Presidential Award in August 1, 2019 as the best State Performing MSMEs in Nigeria at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.Our team of dedicated professionals are ever willing to support our existing and prospective customers to succeed in all their legitimate business undertakings.

Development Advisory Service
Starting a business is a challenging endeavor and most entrepreneurs face such obstacles alone. ASBA aims to be the start-up development partner for burgeoning and established entrepreneurs to guide and provide capacity support at all levels of business growth. ASBA would develop a range of services designed to offer the needed advice and support to MSME entrepreneurs, becoming a catalyst to enable and assist entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into bankable businesses
Business Incubation Services
Business Incubation Center helps entrepreneurs progress throughout the early stage of growth. The suite of services which are tailored and continuously delivered helps identify and remove obstacles and bottlenecks and allows entrepreneurs to maintain their focus and move forward. ASBA will facilitate entrepreneurs in incubating their fledgling businesses by having access to all the support they need to effectively develop, start, and grow their enterprises.
ASBA Entrepreneurship Academy
The ASBA Entrepreneurship Academy would help budding and experienced entrepreneurs alike develop the skillset they need to thrive by delivering relevant information, seminars, workshops and other opportunities to learn, grow and network. ASBA would have an extensive collection of educational resources to nurture entrepreneurial and managerial talents
Funding Support
One of ASBA’s key objectives would be to help address the challenges of the critical funding gap for MSMEs and make capital available to them. ASBA would partner with International/Local Development Finance Institutions, Deposit Money Banks and other such Financial Institutions to develop funding programs for the MSMEs.
